Comments: A 73-year-old woman was evaluated for a tense cyst on the dorsum of the distal interphalangeal joint of the index finger that caused grooving of the nail. The cyst and nail changes resolved following aspiration and multiple punctures to the wall of the cyst to prevent recurrence.

Magnetic resonance imaging indicated a fluid filled lesion on the late oal aspect of the iliotibial band. The cyst resolved following aspiration and multiple punctures to the cystic wall.

Ten months later 13 adenomas were removed from her intestinal tract. Melanotic macules were evident on her face and lips. Her father and older sister, both of whom had similar cutaneous and systemic problems, had been diagnosed with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.
